The role of the Penta Ocean Nurse is pivotal in providing primary and emergency healthcare services to the workforce. This position is not just about treating ailments; it involves managing clinical medical aspects comprehensively within the clinic, offering medical evacuation support, and most importantly, establishing International SOS as the preferred healthcare provider on-site.
Your core activities will include collaborating with the International SOS site medical team to manage suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients and responding effectively to medical emergencies. The role also requires you to handle the day-to-day operations of the clinic, conduct site inspections, and enhance patient engagement, ensuring that healthcare services are accessible and tailored to the needs of all employees.

- Deliver high-quality patient care, supporting clinical consultations and ensuring a standard of service that prioritises patient welfare and recovery times;
- Assess all clinical presentations effectively, providing appropriate care while collaborating with medical professionals to mitigate client downtime for patients;
- Maintain continuity of patient care through diligent follow-up and referral processes, ensuring all patients receive holistic support;
- Implement proactive medical care strategies, including conducting health screening services and wellness initiatives tailored to site requirements;
- Provide non-emergency medical services while being on call for urgent response, ensuring rapid assistance during crisis situations;
- Coordinate evacuation procedures in partnership with the site doctor, ensuring that all protocols adhere to the company's medical emergency response plans;
- Contribute to all emergency notifications in line with the client’s medical emergency response protocol, ensuring readiness and compliance;
- Assist with comprehensive Occupational Health exams at the client’s clinic, facilitating health monitoring and safety compliance;
- Engage actively in all scheduled emergency drills, contributing to team preparedness and effective response strategies.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field after qualification;
- Demonstrable experience in emergency medical care with a preference for those with remote site experience;
