YOUR NEW ROLE

This is a newly created role that will provide regional strategic vision and leadership to an established and talented commercial team. Whilst being part of the LivaNova Senior Leadership Team, you will define the commercial strategy for the LATAM markets, being accountable for the growth of the business and the development of the sales organization in the region.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure region growth, sales organization effectiveness, risk management and leadership development- Set sales strategic vision and drive the subregion commercial team to support the LivaNova product portfolio- Ensure that broad organizational and market strategies are translated into clear objectives, metrics, and action plans- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors- Provide leadership, coaching and development for the subregional commercial team, establishing a successful sales force by building, retaining and attracting talent- Direct focus towards financial targets that meet short
- and long-term Profit & Loss and growth expectations- Translate corporate messages into tangible sales objectives and accountabilities for the teams, while providing them with the tools to implement them- Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to influence the future direction and strategies of the business.

ABOUT YOU- Solid sales and marketing leadership experience, ideally within the medical devices industry- Strong international experience with solid understanding and knowledge of the LATAM region- Proficiency in both English and Portuguese a must. Some knowledge of Spanish beneficial- Well developed leadership skills, with the ability to lead through change, and communicate a clear sense of direction and focus in an ambiguous context- Solid influencing skills, with the talent to shape other people’s thinking and gain buy-in from a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally to the organization- Skilled at fostering collaboration, helping others deal with pressure and setbacks, and motivating people.- Creative mindset and a passion for generating ideas, proposals, and introducing innovative solutions to pursue key business opportunities- Experienced at achieving objectives through multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed teams- Able to operate in a global business environment and work with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds- Willing to travel around 50% of the time
