**About the Role**

This role would play a pivotal role in managing operational treasury activities while driving strategic and transformational initiatives. This role offers a balance of hands-on treasury management and process optimization, making it an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make an impact in a fast-paced environment.

Although the **Treasury Lead** will not have direct people management responsibility, you will be working closely with a team of **Treasury Analysts** within the region. As such, **coaching, mentoring, and motivating** junior team members will be a key part of this role, ensuring their development and effectiveness in supporting treasury activities.
- **Cash & Liquidity Management**: Oversee daily cash positioning and liquidity management for entities within the assigned region.
- **Payments & Banking Operations**: Ensure timely execution of payments and effective management of banking relationships.
- **Process Transformation & Automation**: Lead and oversee the transition of treasury tasks to an outsourcedTreasury Operations, ensuring a seamless handover and operational excellence while **leveraging automation to improve processes**.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work closely with internal teams, including **Tax, Legal, Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Payments and external banking partners**, to support treasury and business objectives.
- **Projects & Continuous Improvement**: Drive treasury-related projects, using **data analytics and automation** to enhance efficiency, risk management, and operational resilience.
- **Compliance & Risk Management**: Ensure adherence to treasury policies, controls, and regulatory requirements. Ensure timely completion and adherence to all accounting, financial reporting, audit, and SOX requirements.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Minimum of 8 years of treasury, cash and liquidity management experience at a top corporate or financial institution (Treasury Operations expertise, Process Development mindset, Data Driven decision making approach)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Advanced proficiency in English and fluent Portuguese
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with and influence various stakeholders
- Strong project management acumen, and ability to multitask seamlessly
- Advanced skills in data and financial analysis are highly beneficial
- Enthusiasm about Uber

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Public company experience in a large multi-national preferred
- CTP, CFA or MBA is a plus
- FP&A or Asset Liability Management experience
