What we do

What you will do
- The Sustainability/ESG Consultant works with clients and team members in SAP PaPM implementations with regards to sustainability/ESG management.
- The individual will deliver results through unparalleled professionalism leveraging a superior consultative approach and strong knowledge and expertise of msg global products and related services.
- Stay up to date on guidelines, policies, trends, and best practices related to sustainability reporting / CSR / ESG transparency
- Work with customers on gathering sustainability related business requirements and turn these into specific system design specifications
- Provide expertise in SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) to clients across multiple industries (Insurance, Banking, Energy, Mining and Metals, etc.) in the areas of corporate sustainability (GRI, SASB, GHG Protocol, etc.) and EU-Taxonomy (SFDR/NFRD)
- Support sustainability engagements, from pre
- to post-sales and services
- Work collaboratively with team of consultants
- Hands-on ability to create and maintain PaPM models and environments (after training)
- Responsible for achieving key business outcomes while adhering to project goals and deadlines
- Continuing education in our SAP Software Solutions and knowledge transfer

What we are looking for

Requirements
- Experience in the areas of sustainability, for instance GHG inventory, ESG, CSR, climate change, EU Taxonomy, TCFD, sustainable investing, etc., preferably in combination with IT, either in development or implementation
- Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen combined with the professional consulting skills necessary to create solutions that consider business objectives and financial requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, adjust direction and priorities within fast paced and multi-faceted work environment through strong organization, time, detail, and process management orientation
- Relevant consulting experience or extensive corporate experience
- Business fluency in English
- Willingness to travel globally
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in at least one of the following courses: Technology (Data Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems) or Business (Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics) or Math/Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineer., Math, Statistics, Actuarial).

Nice to have
- University degree in with focus on climate change, environmental science and management, environmental economics, climate and energy policy, or a related field
- Participation in courses and events on Corporate Sustainability, ESG, as well as official GRI training and any other certifications (e.g., GRI's Professional Certification Program, B Corp, etc.)
