As the Scrum Master, you will be an agile servant leader and coach for agile teams within KCP. You will be empowered to create autonomous cross-functional teams guiding them in agile mindset, practices, and tools (like Scrum, scale frameworks or Kanban). You will be a conduit to the removal of impediments and relentless focus on continued learning and improvement. In addition to guiding and coaching the teams, you will also be responsible to embed agile mindset across the organization. At times, when applicable, you will be responsible for creating, applying, and embedding standard/traditional project management governance and framework.

**Responsibilities**
- Guide strategic cross-functional Global Strategic priority teams through agile practices and tools, and /or hybrid waterfall/agile practices
- Relentless focus on helping the team communicate, collaborate, help each other in the removal of barriers, and continues focus on the customer needs
- Connect agile values to compass ways of working in tangible actions that the team can learn, practice, and eventually mature on.
- Develop mínimal governance for project management (i.e. waterfall or hybrid)
- Embed standard project management (PM) practices and tools across the organization starting with Strategic Business Plan (SBP) priority teams that are better suited for traditional PM.
- Organize and facilitate all scrum and/or other framework practices / related meetings (stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews, demos, etc.).
- Work with the product owner and team to develop roadmaps and manage backlog.
- Monitors team backlog daily and ensure it accurately reflects the current state of the sprint.
- Works with product owners and stakeholders to refine vision and establish goals and metrics.
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management.
- Prioritizes workload and ensures appropriate sizing and standardization of user stories.
- Coach product owner, other scrum masters, and individual team members in opportunities for improvement in mindset and practices to drive the team to higher engagement.
- Act as an agile and traditional project management ambassador in sessions across the organization like communities of practice, and leadership forums
- Ensure the team reaches a position to sustain the learning, mindset, and practices
- Co-create the agile standard and traditional project management for the business and socialize it as part of the overall change management plan
- Train and coaches more junior scrum masters or project managers
- Train the organization on agile and traditional project management values, practices, and tools as applicable

**Must Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree minimum
- 5+ years of experience leading both Scrum and Kanban Agile Teams
- 5+ years of Scrum Master active experience
- 3+ yrs of experience in Traditional Project management
- 8+ years of experience / ability to influence, engage teams & drive change. Assertive, Active listener and strong communicator who can connect with others.
- Current professional certification in Product and/or Project Methodologies (Scrum Master, PMP) from a recognized Agile certifier
- Verbal and written fluency in English is required.
- A must - high EQ, i.e. really manage the “soft” side of the leadership and cross-functional interactions. This person must have experience operating with high assertiveness balanced with high trust
- Stakeholder Management, Negotiation & Communication Skills
- JIRA/ADO/Smartsheets experience
- Self-starter with strong sense of urgency in delivering results. Questions to understand and drive a better solution.
- Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

**Other qualifications-desirable**:

- Experience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices
- Experience as software Release Train Engineer or Scrum of Scrums Master
- Lean, continuous improvement / process improvement experience
- Experience in a B2B environment preferred.
