The Experimentation Platform team is dedicated to fostering a hypothesis-driven, data-informed culture that accelerates innovation across the company. By building a unified platform for customer profile/audiences, experimentation, and evaluation, the team enables seamless audience segmentation, efficient experiment orchestration, and consistent KPI measurement. These tools empower all of SuperBet to focus on testing ideas and building features, reducing the time and effort required to set up experiments and analyze results.

You'll build and support a team focused on building scalable systems, automated workflows, and intuitive dashboards, we ensure that every team can iterate quickly and confidently, unlocking new opportunities for impact and driving measurable business outcomes.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Building the future of automated experimentation for SuperBet, working with partners to determine the product and commercial teams needs in terms of experimentation and evaluation, and then drive them to fruition.
- Working with multiple role types in order to be successful including software engineers, data engineers, analysts and data scientists.
- Providing people management support and direction to your team in the form of hiring, coaching, support, feedback, performance management and reviews.
- Owning technical direction and execution for your team via supporting high dependency projects, handling ambiguity, building/driving roadmaps, ensuring eng excellence, setting goals and measuring impact
- Landing organizational impact for SuperBet by influencing strategy, driving business decisions, and building relationships with partners and stakeholders to drive outcomes

**Qualities we're looking for**:

- Proven experience (5+ years) in software engineering or related roles
- Proven experience (2+ years) leading/managing an engineering team, supporting the growth and performance of engineers
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or 8+ years of experience.
- Experience in experimentation platforms, methodologies, and approaches.
- Data driven mindset, and a passion for building that mindset in others.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Strong programming skills in languages and frameworks like Python, GoLang, React, Erlang, etc. Exact languages are not a requirement but the ability and flexibility to learn is.
- Experience and understanding of cloud computing platforms, micro-services architectures, and containerization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills
- Experience resolving complex engineering and communication issues

**Bonus points for**:

- Having built experimentation platforms, customers segmentation platforms, or ML evaluation platforms in the past.
- Experience in hypothesis driven development in the entertainment space.
- Experience in online casino or sports betting products and driving improvements to them
