Our technology teams

Our engineering team employs a broad range of technologies and techniques to deal with day-to-day tasks and long-term challenges by looking beyond the traditional buzzwords to develop software in a pragmatic and efficient way.
Currently, we use Python/Django, Kotlin/Micronaut; machine learning models trained with SKLearn and Keras/Tensorflow/Jax; hybrid mobile apps and PWA’s; optimization algorithms based on OR-tools and our own proprietary solutions; Istio/K8s deployments in Azure and AWS. For data in general, we rely on Looker, ELK and Grafana. Our core product is presented as a handful of apps supported by a couple dozen macroservices.
Loggi’s engineering team created an environment that has been strengthened by learning, sharing experiences, and respecting each other. Today, we are working together to build an e-logistics platform for the e-commerce of tomorrow.

**Responsibilities**:

- You’ll guide one or more tribes (squads), leading the work of engineers in the company. Loggi will count on you to identify problems and opportunities for improvement, involving the leadership and proposing solid technical solutions for them.
- Loggi’s engineering team works with a wide variety of technologies and techniques to solve our challenges. We try to see beyond the buzzwords to develop software in a pragmatic and efficient way.
- To spark your curiosity, we work on python/django, kotlin/micronaut; predictive models trained with sklearn and keras/tensorflow; native and hybrid apps, and PWAs; algorithms of optimization based on or-tools, Systems in Azure and AWS, with and without kubernetes. In addition we also use Looker and ELK for dashboards and analysis.

Above everything, we expect desire and the ability to acquire knowledge and learn fast.

**Requirements**:

- 7 years of experience working in a software engineering position, with at least 4 years working in a leadership position (technical or people management
- Exceptional tracking record managing large scale projects;
- Excellent business acumen, capable of identifying and prioritizing high impact problems, influencing engineering teams in the whole organization to solve those problems;
- Experience in working in a collaborative environment of teams of engineers, product managers and designers;
- A well-developed ability to grow leaders, both engineers, and managers
- A strong business sense and ability to challenge and partner with product managers and business stakeholders
- Excellent communication and analytical ability. We need someone who can quantitatively analyze the business value of engineering decisions and articulate a narrative about their importance
