- Responsible for the accounting entries of the marketplace operation and the payment institution. Furthermore, monitors the monthly variation and explains the amounts in the trial balance. Has a close relationship with the payment and operation teams. Responsible for the local accounting monthly closing activities, including reporting, preparing, and reviewing reconciliations (end to end) with high quality and following the best practices. Also, responsible for account variance analysis for reporting purposes (Month to Month, Year to Year, and explanations). Has a close relationship with the payment, operation, and HQ teams.- Responsible for the local journal entries and accounting monthly closing activities, including reporting, preparing and reviewing reconciliations (end to end);
- Bridging Local x US GAAP;
- Support daily AP, AR and Treasury functions, ensuring efficient and accurate finance processes for all local operations;
- Assist in ensuring effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements;
- Preparation of accounting obligations and ancillary declarations (ECD);
- Interface with internal and external auditors;
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
- Experience in Accounting;
- Experience working in an outsourcing accounting company;
- Experience in investment fund and payment/credit institutions is a plus;
