**Your new role**

We are looking for a senior level, strategic designer who enjoys working in complex, regulated environments to create meaningful impact and thrives in collaborating with multiple teams. Many of our design problems in this role will revolve around organisational efficiency, enterprise workflows, collaborative writing and group level user and access management, mixed with a diverse range of opportunities to tackle some unique design challenges and interaction paradigms sparked by AI.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- **Partner and efficiently collaborate with Product, Engineering and Marketing peers**
in cross-functional squads for day-to-day work, with support from the Design function
- **Ownership of product discovery leading to actionable insights**, using a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methods with fast time to insight
- **Bring clarity, direction to ambiguous design problems with conceptual design**, experience mapping, information architecture - facilitating cross-functional, remote workshops
- **Rapid prototype, co-create** **and iteratively evaluate** product experiences which are pragmatic, simple and work within established constraints
- Produce engineering ready **systematic design** with modern design and prototyping tools, within **enterprise level accessibility constraints** (e.g. WCAG 2.2AA)
- **Proactively measure and communicate design outcomes** with product analytics
- **Share enterprise related user, domain and product knowledge** across the design and wider product team

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Experience in delivering strategic and systematic UX work within enterprise, life sciences or high-tech R&D or similarly complex domains
- Ability to own an end-to-end human-centred design process, from discovery to impact evaluation - working independently or in partnership with other designers in a modern product operating model
- Independently conduct qual. and quant. design research activities and facilitate co-design workshops with senior C-level stakeholders, leading to data-informed design decisions
- Ability to do rapid interactive prototyping in modern design tools (e.g Figma)
- Curiosity and interest in leveraging AI within design, in responsible manner
- Clear visual communication and storytelling skills to help communicate design rationale for the team and leadership
- Ability to strategically balance scope, speed and quality for the best outcomes
- Collaborative, humble and consultative “maker” mindset - we are not rock stars here and we leave our egos at the door to be successful
- Experience in mentoring designers, service design, designing for human - AI interactions, data visualisation or inclusive design would be an advantage
