**Job Overview**:
A Field Application Engineer III develops and grows strong relationships with industrial clients in a

strategy around target accounts, sales pipeline, solution development, and routine customer visits. A

successful Field Application Engineer II will have exceptional knowledge of material handling

operations.

**Job Functions**:

- Intermediate knowledge and expertise on Bastian Solutions scope of supply and capabilities,
- advanced knowledge in select areas.
- Develops and grow strong relationships with industrial clients in assigned geographic market.
- Develops a thorough understanding of product information, customers, business operations, and
- opportunities through onboarding, training, and development opportunities.
- Creates and manage strategy regarding target accounts, sales pipeline, and routine customer visits.
- Understands and execute Bastian Solutions approach regarding marketing and brand awareness with
- prospective and existing customers.
- Develops in-depth knowledge of supplier offerings by attending training opportunities as well as
- conducting own research as necessary.
- Assists with Project Management and/or Site Management solutions that are sold to customers.
- Able to lead opportunity development process with new and existing customers for most projects.
- Creates concepts, drawings, cost schedules, and detailed proposals.
- Understand financials, budgets, and cash flow.

**Travel Requirements**:

- 50% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Solutions)

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales
- Technical sales experience in the industrial sector a plus
- AutoCAD experience a plus
- Results focused individual that can close sales and secure business for the organization
- Self-starter who can create and manage strategy
