1) Short Job description:
The Medical Affairs Professional (MAP) is a therapeutically-aligned scientist whose primary role is to represent Medical Affairs in a cross-functional partnership with the brand team to meet both external customer and internal business needs. MAPs also provide key support to the Clinical Research Physician/Scientist (CRP/S) roles.
2) Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Medical input into educational and promotional material development & review
- Speaker & salesforce training
- Medical Education/Meetings with HCPs
- TLE coordination and engagement plan (local - with regional/global TL roles)
- Launch readiness preparation
- Medical lead for Patient Support Programs
- Medical Letter review and oversight
- Escalated HCP questions
- Presentations solicited by HCP’s, payers, HMOs
- Digital innovation in engaging customers
- Key support to CRP/S’s
- Strategic planning of next year activities
- Deeply understanding of Lilly Procedures being capable of managing projects that involve the medical team
- Support Regulatory reviews and discussions with ANVISA (regulatory agency)
- Support with Scientific dossiers to access incorporation in public and private markets.
- Support to Clinical Research Team
3) Knowledge:
- Education: Complete Higher Education, medical degree or HCP graduation;
- Prerequisites: advanced English. Post-graduation (PhD degree) or experience in Oncology or in specialty market. Preference: Experienced in the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs and/or PRA
- Skills: Scientific Data Interpretation; Statistical knowledge; Verbal communication; leadership and influence skills; Accountability; Problem-solving; Decision Making, and Prioritization capability; Strategic management/support
