**SAP SD Solution Manager**:

**Your responsibilities**:

- Best practice & Knowledge sharing; Keeps knowledge up to date regarding new and emerging IS technology and IS industry practices, bringing learning into ABB; all within in the scope of the relevant IS solutions.
- IS Services; Collaborates with users in projects and problem management to maintain, develop and deploy the best feasible and most cost efficient IS solutions/services for the business. Ensures manuals for users are created to describe the operating procedures. Consults, gives advice and supports the installation of new IS solutions/services, or the changing of existing IS solutions/services.
- Processes; Consults the users to identify and learn about current procedures and to clarify further requirements. Supports the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of all IS processes related to the area of responsibility.
- Incident: Change or Project; Contributes to IS Problem and IS Incident Management to fight ticket volume by detecting re-occurring defects and eliminating these. Proactively supports issue resolution during project delivery to avoid delays or any other form of negative impact to a project or service.
- IS Strategy; In concert with the Global IS Domain Architect ensures that IS solution/service-related standards are considered accordingly.
- Collaborates with the DA to maintain the architectural road map based on needs arising from projects and changes
- Is responsible for developing and realizing a long-term view on one or more technical solutions, in relation to the IT landscape of which it is a part.
- Engages in requirement engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements are needed and for which functionalities workarounds are accepted
- Is responsible for translating the functional design into technical specifications from the Business Blueprint (BBEM)
- Communicates the technical specifications to the developers
- Formulates rules, principles and guidelines to guide the development of the technical solution
- Monitors observance, ensuring the delivery matches the designed solution architecture
- Support the Run organization in the incident and problem resolution when technical expertise IS required
- Is consulted, gives advice, and supports the installation of new IS solutions/ services, or the changing of existing IS solutions/services

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Large experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
- SAP SD Expert.
- Fluent English, Portuguese and Spanish.
