**Boeing Brazil** is seeking **Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager**, reporting to the Structures Senior Manager, working out of the **Sao Jose dos Campos** office.

The **Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager** will to join the Structures Design and Stress team and will find leaders to fill multiple spots within our organization.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering and Design
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- Establish an open, inclusive, and innovative team culture
- Lead, develop and engage our people within multiple Engineering disciplines

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
- Must have a Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Experience in Engineering design and/or analysis
- Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Strong execution, communication, and collaboration skills
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language

**Preferred Qualifications **(Education/Experience)**:

- Experience leading or managing technical teams. Experience with product integrity and in-service safety, and/or mission assurance
- Experience with in-service fleet support
- Experience in leading, coaching and developing others (including those who are not your direct reports)
- Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented
