Mid-level Front End Shopify Developer

Zipdev is looking for a Front-End Developer to join the development team. The ideal person for this position has great expertise in core front-end development skills. You’ll be responsible for the front-end development of a Shopify store.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transform complex web designs into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS/JS templates.
- Edits, iterations, and maintenance of existing web pages.
- Handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time.
- Produce high-quality work with a strong focus on detail.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of experience with Web Development:

- An expertise in HTML, CSS and jQuery (Or vanilla JavaScript).
- Knowledge and ability to optimize image assets for the web.
- Knowledge and ability to implement basic SEO structure.
- Using heading tags like properly, adding alt tags to images, etc.
- A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Experience with media queries and responsive web development.
- A large portion of our traffic uses tablets/mobile so webpages need to look great regardless of screen size (Desktop/tablet/mobile.)
- Great attention to detail when developing HTML/CSS/JS from design files.
- Shopify Experience:

- Knowledge of the Shopify platform and a general understanding of how it works.
- Knowledge of Shopify themes and Shopify’s Liquid template language.
- Note: If you do not have Shopify/Liquid experience but your HTML/CSS/JS skills are incredibly strong, you will still be highly considered.
- Bonus Skills:

- Basic knowledge of Git for version control and working with other developers.
- Experience with Adobe XD or Figma for design file handoff for development.
