**About the team**

Your role will be to lead a team of Data Scientists to further develop our US P&C Data Science organization, managing a scope of customers for our Claims Fraud Detection product in the US. Our company is small enough that each person's achievements have an impact on overall performance, yet big enough to be a world leader in our domain.

**This is a hybrid role based in Sao Paulo Capital**

**What you will do**
- You will be in charge of scaling solution deployment and maintenance, supervising a Data Science team of 7+
- You will hire, train, and coach a team of Data Scientists to work on our Fraud Detection models
- You will be working closely with our clients to understand their business and organizational context, present results, discuss the performances of our models and ensure we exceed their expectations.
- You will be working with other Data Science managers to identify opportunities to scale our processes, better onboard and coach Data Scientists and serve our customers more efficiently.
- You will support our Sales and Value Engineering teams, and present demos of our products to prospects.

**What you will bring**
- Business fluent in Portuguese and English
- 2+ year experience as Manager or Team Lead of a Data Science / Analytics team, managing at least 7+ direct reports
- 3+ years as an individual contributor in Data Science, Analytics or Software Engineering fields
- Outstanding communication capabilities
- Strong client-facing skills
- Team player, as you'll interact with many other teams: Data Science, Product Management, Software Engineering, Project Management, GTM, etc.
- Nice to have:

- Fluent in Spanish
- Prior experience in a SaaS company
- Prior experience in the Insurance industry
- Prior experience as a Data Scientist
