**Job Purpose**:
This role is fundamentally a developmental position within the E&T Variant Configuration team, primarily focused on setting up customer ordering and production systems (CSQ, GSOL, EOMP, eSAP, CBS SAP) for new product introduction (NPI) and changes to offerings on existing price lists.

**Day to day responsibilities include**:

- Setting up SAP Variant Configuration models which allow our customers to price and order configurable products online (like configuring a Laptop specification online)
- Developing a Super Bill of Materials, to allow the correct components to be purchased and built
- Rapid resolution of critical production and customer order issues
- Collaborating with global engineering and price list teams to determine product offerings and their compatibility rules
- Create logic on SAP VC Models and PSPS Software flashing systems to software to be loaded onto our products control systems
- Active participation in New Product Introduction projects
- Liaise with global production facilities Engineering Change, Supply Chain and project teams to manage the opening of price list order boards and production start on line for the introduction of NPIs and maintenance changes.
- Communicate highly complex, technical information to non-technical personnel to ensure the successful identification of root cause and corrective action.
- Accurate analysis and translation of business and customer requirements to set up online ordering and production systems

**Basic Qualifications**

**Job related experience required**: Technical experience in SAP or other similar business ERP systems on at least one of the following areas:

- Variant Configuration
- Order management of configurable products, or
- Production Engineering to Release methodologies

**Language**:Pre advanced level of English

**Behavioral skills**:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese and excellent attention to detail, Accurate analysis, ability to solve problems, quick learner, perseverance, planning, conflict management

**Desired Criteria**:

- Experience working in a SAP environment or similar Order Management / Production business systems working with Variant Configuration, Bills of Materials and material masters
- Experience of developing processes and tools
- Experience of failure resolution and prevention
- Experience of data analysis and extraction
- Knowledge in either SQL, C++, Python would assist on understanding
- Office 365 and PowerBI
