**About the team and role**:
Our Design Team strives to understand the needs, emotions, and behaviors of the people who use our platform and those who interact with our conversational flows. Our goal is to give them valuable, intuitive, and delightful product experiences while generating brand engagement. We promote a human-centered design culture across the company. We love humane, significant, ethical, collaborative, iterative, and simple products.

For us, everything starts and ends with understanding. Empathy allows humans to connect and evolve. Insights matter to us. As a Design Researcher, you will be responsible for identifying research questions, choosing the best research methodology, and running research sessions to gather insights and transform them into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customers, Product Designers, Project Managers, Engineers, and Content Designers, to ensure high-quality and usability standards.

**You will**:

- Plan and implement research projects from beginning to end by identifying research questions, choosing the best research methodology, defining and recruiting participants, running the research sessions, and delivering high-quality projects.
- Drive conversations from findings to recommendations to actions, working closely with the product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
- Facilitate workshops with teammates, stakeholders, and customers to clearly define problems and potentialize ideation processes.
- Analyze data such as Flow goals, events, user behaviors, emotions, and usability metrics to improve the user experience iteratively.
- Test, document, share, and scale best practices with the team and customers.
- Collaborate to create research guidelines, processes, and any other documentation to help escalate and democratize research within the company.
- Work in an agile environment blending research timelines with design and engineering processes.
- Actively collaborate with team members from Design, Product, Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Growth to ensure the outcomes from the business and the users are met with high-quality and usability standards.
- Participate in Scrum and Design Team rituals.
- Take full ownership of your own workflow and time management.

- You are a systematic thinker that brings analytics, business cases, and mental models up to the definition and design stages.
- You are passionate about usability, human-computer interaction, user experience, and technology and curious about conversational commerce.
- You can use diverse methodologies and tools to enhance your discovery and evaluative processes.
- You are a storyteller and a brilliant communicator at heart.
- You take the initiative and drive projects from beginning to end with full ownership.
- You strive to promote a human-centered culture.
- You easily navigate across areas and teams to ensure communication alignment.
- You are highly collaborative, self-organized, and accountable.
- You are a native Portuguese speaker and highly proficient in English. Spanish is a plus.
- You are strongly interested in keeping up with industry trends, best practices, and tools.
