Managing Director, Latin America

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Managing** Director** to lead our service operations for the **LATAM region** and contribute to the overall success of Marel.

**What you will be doing**:
As the Regional Customer Center Director LATAM at Marel, you will be responsible for managing the service operations, coordinating the regional sales organization and leading the Regional Management Team that consists of the Regional Service leadership team (direct reports) and the regional sales directors (functional). You will report to our EVP Service and the estimated travel time will be around 50%.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develops regional market execution plan to actively promote the sales and service and maintenance offerings to deliver expected service levels;
- Together with Divisional global leadership (meat, poultry, fish, RFS and software), responsible for sales within the Region and manages any agents acting on behalf of Marel within the region;
- Responsibility for management of key strategic/tactical change projects and implementing global standards, best practices and policies for the region;
- Develops highly efficient, motivated and skilled workforce to meet demand and needs in the market as close to the customer as possible and practical.
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, strategic thinking, operational problem solving (as escalation point) and effective people management.
