**About this role**

Our Retailer mobile app is crucial to our vision: Empowering entrepreneurs to chase their dreams. We want to empower entrepreneurs to run their business from their pocket through a world class mobile app

We care about stunning design, phenomenal UX, and good engineering practices - we love to write software that is secure, tested, easy to maintain, responsive, and performant. We build minimum viable products, deploy to production weekly, A/B test customer-facing changes, listen to the data, and iterate.

As our Mobile Engineering Manager for Platform, you'll lead the development of the next generation infrastructure that will power Faire's iOS & Android apps for our customers.

**What you'll do**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to create strategies and plans to transition Faire towards mobile-first product development
- Scale out the mobile engineering team that directly reports to you, along with the broader mobile engineering organization
- Lead the creation and execution of a near term roadmap to lay the necessary foundations for the transition towards mobile first development, including infrastructure, developer velocity, team processes, design systems and other elements of the product development process
- Ensure platform parity of key product launches during the transition to mobile-first by prioritizing intakes from partner teams and executing on roadmap through a centralized mobile product team.
