Rentcars is looking for a **Head of Business Development** to join our team and help us expand globally and improve our New Business strategies.
Reporting directly to the COO, you will act as a new business expert, making decisions that will impact current and future operations. We seek a senior professional obsessed with new business opportunities, improve our new products and sales channels, drive the revenue of our new verticals, and always up-to-date with the best market practices.
You´ll be working closely with Marketing, Customer Service, and Commercial teams, at a company that operates in 160+ countries and is the leading online car rental marketplace in Latin America, with a fast-paced, creative, dynamic, exciting, and above all, responsible team.
**Here's what this role is all about**:
- Develop new business opportunities across different channels;
- Drive revenue of new business growth worldwide, working with global and local teams;
- Co-develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and channels;
- Create and execute localized strategies to grow Subscription and Car Rental Agencies verticals;
- Define alongside Customer Service the strategies to create the best customer experience in our new products and channels;
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders across different teams and geographies;
- Define new products strategy and roadmap: own new products portfolio strategy, including the planning of upcoming products and features improvements;
- Keep up to date with market best practices, latest technologies, and e-commerce trends. Do benchmarks to constantly raise the bar on our new products usability;
- Track and control annual operating budget for business development.
**A perfect match would have**:
- Strong track record of Business Development, especially in the e-commerce industry;
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products;
- A sophisticated understanding of how consumer internet technologies work, e-commerce experience preferred;
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in Portuguese and English.
