Azure Cloud Architect

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement Azure cloud solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards and best practices.
- Conduct cloud readiness assessments and provide recommendations for cloud adoption.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect or similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and Azure architecture.
- Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Policies, Azure vNets, Private Endpoints, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure RBAC and more.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM templates, Microsoft Bicep, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform.
- Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP basics, security, and identity management in Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert-AZ 305, ) are a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive experience (3+ years) as an Infrastructure as Code Developer, with a proven track record in Azure and AWS environments.
- Advanced proficiency in IaC tools: ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
- Python language proficiency
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and identity management in Azure and AWS.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
