RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the production of public and internal information such as press releases and notes, newsletters, reports.
- Translate press releases, reports and other documents from English to Portuguese and from Portuguese to English
- Assists in the organization and coverage of online and in-person conferences, meetings, workshops, seminars, and other events.
- Provide support with IOM Brazil’s social medias products and strategy.
- Provide overall support with research and fact-checking to produce communication material.
- Capture images in photo and video.
- Support administrative processes related to communications, such as services payments, procurement and planning.
- Ensure all communication materials are under the general branding IOM manual.
- Perform any other duties as may be needed.

**_QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications and Experience
- **

**EDUCATION**
- High School Diploma, with a minimum of 3 (three) years of relevant work experience; or
- University degree in Social Communication or any related field, with a minimum of 1 (one) year of relevant work experience.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Knowledge in Canva is required.
- Knowledge in CapCut is an advantage.

**SKILLS**
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prepare clear and concise products.

**_Languages _**

**REQUIRED**

For this position, fluency in Portuguese and in English is required (oral and written).

**DESIRABLE**

Working knowledge of Spanish.

IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.

Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
