**About the Role**:
As a fraud analyst you will be conducting manual review of ecommerce orders with the aim of blocking fraudulent orders, identifying fraud attacks and supporting fraud prevention efforts. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced fraud analyst. The role requires strong analytical skills, independent and creative thinking, quick decision-making, and flexibility. The role involves shift work including availability on weekends and nights.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Review transactions and make accurate, timely decisions to detect fraud.
- Conduct fraud tagging, labeling, and analysis to strengthen decision management.
- Analyze patterns and provide insights to improve machine-learning algorithms.
- Support fraud analysis for customer service tickets and online decision processes.
- Contact the final customer for validation whenever potential fraud is found
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a fraud analyst in the ecommerce industry. - MUST
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical skills with a focus on identifying patterns and providing insights.
- Proven ability to quickly review transactions and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and support research with actionable insights.
- Basic knowledge of SQL. - a benefit
- This is a hybrid position - must have the ability to work 2-3 days from Sao Paulo office.
