We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to complete our AI/ML team at Descartes Systems Group. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the data science initiatives, leading the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions, and fostering innovation across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, validate, and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate prototypes into production-ready solutions, working closely with software engineers and product managers.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes in logistics scenarios.
- Help the implementation of our data lake infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Conduct data preprocessing, including data cleaning, data transformation, and data integration.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends in AI/ML.
- Communicate results and ideas to key decision-makers.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in Python programming for data analysis, modeling, and software development.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

**Nice to Have**:

- Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese, enabling effective communication with our diverse customer base.
