**Senior Learning Assistant**
The Senior Learning Assistant (Sr LA) supports learning inside and outside the classroom. Working under the supervision of the teacher and divisional principal, the Learning Assistants ensure that all students have a safe and supported environment during recess, lunch, and transitions from class to class.
**Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
**Senior Learning Assistant**
- Support learning in classrooms
- Supervise students during recess and lunch
- Support teachers in the preparation of materials for learning
- Supervise the instruction of a small group of students with teacher support
- Provide supervision and/or substitution in classes when a teacher is absent
**Education Requirements**
- Senior Learning Assistant - Bachelor and/or _licenciatura_ concluded (teaching license) in Language in English/Portuguese.
- High preference for one year of experience at ISC and identified with the potential to be a future ISC teacher.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese (oral and written) is essential for these positions.
