**What we are looking for**:
This Specialist will be responsible for some suppliers of Transmissions, Clutches, Brakes and Fasteners in South America. Main roles & responsibilities: This position aims to identify cost reductions opportunities, ensure supplier's good performance (cost, delivery, quality, warranty), act to support new Product Introduction team within purchasing, support supplier development team as well as raise and lead sub-commodities strategies in order to comply with local and global stratey/KPIs. Direct report to Regional Commodity Manager. This Specialist will support and will have daily contact with Global Commodity Manager in order to comply with local and global strategies. Commodity data: 84 suppliers in SA with USD 77M turn over.

**What are you going to do**:

- Develop and manage relationship with key suppliers, be closer to them specially due to capacity restrictions and undertand their needs to act and support as maximum as AGCO can;
- Reach Cost savings targets, support process improvement initiatives and assure cost management avoiding cost divergencies;
- Identify best sources for part quotation, assure RFQ on time/cost/delivery selecting best supplier for AGCO needs assuring local and global alignment prior sourcing approval;
- Lead Transmissions, Clutches, Brakes and Fasteners team and support all departments as required;
- Support regional process improvement and implement global best practices;
- Lead main negotiations with big competitors for this commodity and develop LTA and cost reduction projects with them;
- Increase and accelerate localization projects in alignment with global strategy/KPIs;
- Manage tactical implementation of the global commodity strategy and provide a bridge from operational level of purchasing to strategic sourcing.

**What do you need**:

- Completed graduation in Engineering, Administration or related courses;
- Advanced English.
