**Job Description** Opportunity**

Can you guide Fortune 500 retailers into the next generation of digital commerce, marketplace, and platform business strategy? Can you map a transformation vision into a tangible roadmap with business and technology milestones and dependencies? As a VTEX Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of our e-commerce projects, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions on the VTEX platform. Your role will involve technical leadership, hands-on development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable e-commerce experiences.

**Responsibilities**

**Top five responsibilities**
- Lead a team of developers in the implementation of VTEX-based solutions, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Drive the technical vision and strategy for VTEX projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Hands-on development using VTEX, JavaScript, and related technologies to implement and customize e-commerce solutions.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and timely delivery of features.
- Work closely with project managers to define technical requirements, estimate effort, and plan project timelines.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project plans and ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated on VTEX platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and incorporate best practices into the development process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization in the development workflow.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Implement and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure the overall quality of the codebase.
- Work closely with QA teams to identify and address bugs and ensure a high level of product quality.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a VTEX Tech Lead or similar role, with a strong background in e-commerce development.
- Extensive experience with VTEX platform customization, including modules, components, and API integration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, web development, and related technologies.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a development team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in VTEX or other related technologies are a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills.
