We are looking for a Berthing Assistant to join our Harbour Management Limited. The duties of the Berthing Assistant will be amongst others,
- To assist owners and crews with vessel berthing and un-berthing.
- To ensure that vessels in the marina are always properly moored and tendered.
- To tow, line handle and mooring assistance the the marina workboat.
- To carry out routine cleaning and maintenance.
- To ensure that marina users obey and comply with Marina Rules and Regulations and enforcement of such rules when required.
- To assist with boat handling and boat yard operations (haul-out and trailer of vessels) T
- To assist the management and other staff in such other matters as may be reasonably required.
A good understanding of boat handling, knots and basic marina operations.
Physically fit, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude.
