**What you'll do**:

- To act as the key technology resource allowing the squad to move forward whilst supporting the rest of Pismo's technical needs.
- Define the cloud security and authentication technology strategy to be used by the teams
- Responsible for technical design
- Mentor and coach members of the team, specifically with code and architecture evaluations
- Has a hands-on approach and gets involved in programming to help the team develop their solutions and resolve any potential issues. Identify and eliminate technical barriers
- Provides the team with a roadmap for implementing engineering and architectural practices
- Work closely with Senior Leadership and be able to articulate complex technical information at all levels

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- B2 English
- AWS Certified Security accredited
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking
- Experience in information security and/or technology risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
- Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation, and security.
- Extensive working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing secure solutions.
- Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures and standards
- Software engineering biase with a deep understanding of development practices, secure software development lifecycle as well as software testing and coding languages.
- Extensive experience with large scale systems, in terms of architecture, change management and scalability.
- Proven hands-on experience in designing, building, improving and operating high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems in fast growing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook
