Specialized Inspector

**Requisitions**:
Specialized Inspector, with technical background in welding inspections (FBTS N1 certificated), with proven experience working in repair companies in the oil and gas sector. Qualifications in non-destructive testing techniques, such as Penetrating Liquid, Magnetic Particles and minimum but necessary knowledge in dimensional inspections will be required. Night shift vacancy. Characteristics of dynamism and motivation for challenges will be differentiators.

**Main Activities**:

- Prepare an inspection report using a specific form, including data on the tests carried out to be

sent to customers;
- Perform hardness testing in accordance with engineering instructions and procedures to identify possible

problems in parts and equipment and ensuring the quality of material products;
- Carry out non-destructive tests in accordance with engineering instructions and procedures, in order to

identify possible problems in parts and equipment, ensuring product integrity;
- Record/report NDT results;
- Interpret NDT procedures;
- Perform END for which you are qualified, respecting the specific limitations established in the standards and

relevant procedures;
- Carry out calibration of equipment such as welding machines, electrode stoves, etc., if available

N1 welding inspection qualification (FBTS);
- Carry out visual inspection of equipment, notifying the state of conservation and operation in a report

of equipment, aiming to identify repair needs;
- Carry out dimensional inspection using different calipers and micrometers, both in millimeters and in

inch;
- Check wear in critical areas of equipment using measuring instruments, observing

replacement or lack of replacement of parts, as well as possible repairs (internal / external);
- Carry out general polishing and grinding using grinders and grinders;
- Identify and list the parts required for maintenance, ensuring that the request will generate the appropriate

maintenance and repair;
- Carry out welding using the coated electrode and TIG processes, when necessary;

when necessary.
- Finish the welded part, sanding and removing scores from the worked parts, when necessary;
- Make cuts in materials or metal parts, using a torch, when necessary;
- Seek support from other NOV units, when necessary to carry out new work, in order to obtain

history of similar activities already carried out;
- Provide technical support to the Services and Customers team, when necessary;
- Maintain a good relationship between employees at the same hierarchical level and above;
- Contact your supervisor when the work involves making more critical decisions;
- Comply with all company policies and procedures established by the Quality Management System

and SMS, as well as other Corporate guidelines;
- Perform other tasks related to the role assigned to you;
- Seek continuous improvement in its activities and operations.
