Associate Marketing Director for Rare Diseases

We are seeking an experienced and visionary **Associate Marketing Director for Rare Diseases** to lead the strategic direction and execution of marketing initiatives for our groundbreaking treatment, designed for _Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension_. In this critical role, you will significantly influence brand development, expand market share, and foster strategic collaboration across cross-functional teams, including Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access, to drive the product’s success within the public healthcare sector.
As the Associate Marketing Director, you will not only shape the future of our brand but also mentor and inspire a team, ensuring cohesive execution of brand strategies while nurturing team growth and professional development. This role requires strong leadership in product launch and lifecycle management, a data-centric approach to refining strategies, and a profound understanding of the rare disease landscape and market dynamics.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Drive Brand Strategy**: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive brand strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching company goals and the unique needs of the market.
- ** Engagement Plans**: Design and implement targeted marketing plans aimed at healthcare providers, Centers of Reference, and key stakeholders to enhance awareness, engagement, and adoption.
- ** Launch Excellence**: Oversee product launch strategies, crafting market entry tactics, promotional campaigns, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust market penetration.
- ** Market Access Collaboration**: Partner with Market Access teams to optimize reimbursement strategies and advocate for product inclusion within key formularies.
- ** Insight-Driven Decisions**: Conduct and analyze market research and competitive intelligence to identify trends, assess competitive positioning, and uncover opportunities for brand differentiation.
- ** Performance Evaluation**: Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, utilizing insights to refine and adapt strategies to achieve optimal results.
- ** Unified Messaging**: Collaborate seamlessly with Medical Affairs and Sales teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- ** Educational Content Development**: Create educational and promotional materials for healthcare professionals and stakeholders that highlight brand objectives and reinforce clinical benefits.
- ** Industry Representation**: Represent the brand at industry conferences, seminars, and external engagements, building relationships and establishing credibility within the community.
- ** Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure that all marketing activities adhere to regulatory standards and align with corporate policies.
**Main requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent presentation and written communication skills.
- Pharmaceutical marketing experience, showcasing expertise in product management and successful product launches in rare diseases or specialty products.
- Proven experience in leading and developing team members, with a strong focus on mentorship and skill enhancement.
- In-depth knowledge of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension or related cardiopulmonary conditions is highly desirable.
- Strong grasp of market access and reimbursement processes, experienced in both public and private healthcare settings.
- Demonstrated leadership in crafting and executing impactful brand strategies and marketing plans.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with a data-driven mindset to optimize brand performance.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficient in digital marketing, CRM platforms, and data analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
