OSM Thome is currently seeking a 3rd Officer (3/O) to join our team on board the XT Honesty, a Tanker - Shuttle vessel. The position is located in Brazil, with the joining port in Rio De Janeiro. The vessel is flagged under Liberia.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Chief Officer in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel
- Maintain navigational watch and ensure compliance with all safety and navigation procedures
- Monitor and maintain the vessel's navigational equipment
- Conduct regular safety drills and ensure crew members are familiar with emergency procedures
- Assist in the loading and discharging of cargo
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to navigation and cargo operations

**Requirements**:

- Valid STCW certification, including Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW)
- Minimum of [number] years of experience as a 3rd Officer on Tanker vessels
- Proficient in the use of navigational equipment and software
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in a multicultural environment
- Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
