Senior Service Technician, 4 Stroke

- We are now looking for a _**_Service Technician (4 Stroke) _**_to join our _**_Field Service of Marine_**_ team around the world working for a better future, and the preferred location of the position is in _**_Niterói, Barreto, Brazil._**
**_ Main responsibilities:_**
- _Perform overhauls and repairs on 4-stroke medium-speed engines. Interact professionally with customers during the work execution._
- _Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work._
- _Assistance in creating the Service Work Reports._
- _Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site procedures._
- _Follow-up and report on the status of work orders to customers and/or internal stakeholders._
- _Continuously seek solutions according to best practices._
**_ To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:_**
- _A safety-first mindset._
- _A passion for developing your 4-stroke knowledge to the next level._
- _A Technical degree in a relevant field (mechanics, automation, naval, or others)._
- _A completed or in-progress Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a plus._
- _English is needed at intermediary or advanced level._
- _Technical experience in reciprocating engine repair and overhaul with practical problem-solving skills._
- _Experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of turbochargers, pumps, heat exchangers, fuel systems, lubrication systems, and cooling systems._
- _Interact professionally and deliver solutions to customers during the work execution._
- _Experience with 4-stroke engines, preferably low and medium speed._
- _Experience in working with electrical systems is a plus._
