**What you’ll do**:

- Lead and mentor the data engineering team, fostering technical growth and collaboration
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure (Google Cloud preferred)
- Manage and build new technical data products for client reporting and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Maintain and improve existing our existing client data infrastructure and reporting product, the Flight Plan.
- Design and implement data models, ETL processes, microservices, and data warehousing solutions
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices across all platforms
- Optimize data processing for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Use AI and automation to optimize data engineering workflows
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver robust data and AI solutions
- Oversee data integration from multiple internal and external sources
- Recruit, onboard, and develop top data engineering talent
- Monitor and report on data platform health, performance, and KPIs
- Stay current with industry trends to guide long-term data strategy and innovation

**Experience**
- 7+ years building and scaling data pipelines in complex environments
- Proficient in Python and modern data engineering frameworks
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred)
- Proven track record in architecting and optimizing ETL processes and data warehouses
- Experience leading and mentoring data engineering teams
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Experience in the advertising or marketing industry is a plus
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional technical and business teams
