**Description of the role**:
We are seeking a driven and intellectually curious Associate to join our Emerging Markets Corporate Credit team. In this role, you will support the analysis of high-yield and investment-grade corporate issuers across Latin America, EMEA, and Asia and be expected help develop investment views that will be translated into portfolio-level decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **bottom-up credit analysis** on EM corporate issuers across key sectors, including financials, e**nergy**, p**etrochemicals**, **TMT, consumer products, and industrials.**
- Build and maintain **financial models**, capital structure summaries, and sector peer comparisons.
- Analyze earnings, prepare management summaries, monitor key credit events, and support valuation updates.
- Conduct **relative value analysis** and contribute to trade idea generation and execution support.
- Draft and present investment memos, credit reviews, and scenario outcomes to senior investors.
- Liaise with legal, ESG, and compliance teams on new issuances, restructurings, and credit events.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in **corporate credit research**, ideally with **exposure to EM issuers**.
- Prior coverage or research experience in **financials** and/or **petrochemicals** is a plus.
- Background in **buy-side**, **sell-side**, **investment banking**, or **credit ratings** environment.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, DCF and recovery valuation, covenant and liquidity analysis.
- Skilled in Excel and Bloomberg; Python or Power BI familiarity is a plus.
- Language proficiency in **Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and/or Russian** is a strong asset.
