**What success looks like in this role**:
Professional willing to work in the field of large-scale and mission-critical solutions architecture.
The day-to-day will be focused on participating in systems development and maintenance projects, acting in the role of Software Architect: can participate in projects managed by traditional or agile processes. Design and validate highly complex technical solutions; Manage, coach and train software developers and architects;
It will support the company's development and testing teams, which is why dynamism, good communication and easy relationship with other professionals and customers are necessary.
Support presales team with expertise in architecture issues.
Develops client support plans for major projects.
Work with DevSecOps Engineer to enhance DevSecOps practices.
**You will be successful in this role if you have**:
- 5 years of experience as a Software/ Applications Architect.
- Experience in projects of microservices architectures and APIs.
- Experience in designing Web/Distributed architectures.
- Experience in Batch/Real time data pipeline development projects;
- Relational and NoSQL database (modeling, queries and programming);
- Experience and knowledge in architectural patterns of data platforms;
- Experience in the development of Restful APIs / Microservices / Cloud Functions;
- Knowledge in services / architectural patterns of some of the main clouds (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS);
- Desirable experience in integration with SaaS (Software as a Service) / PaaS (Platform as a Service) solutions;
- Knowledge in distributed processing technologies (Ex: Queues, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, ELK)
- Handling and Storage of large volumes of files (HDFS, Blob Storages);
- Programming language (C#, Java, Node.Js, Python);
- Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines;
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration of Docker / Kubernetes containers.
- Experience in agile methodologies;
- Familiarity with working on solutions following architectural standards and best practices;
- Versioning tool (Git);
- Knowledge of configuration management tools, continuous integration and ALM;
Desirable Skills:
- Have experience in distributed systems and Web architecture;
- Experience with software engineering processes and systems development
- Microservices, DevSecOps and test automation;
- Learn about Unisys technologies and products quickly so you can contribute quickly;
- Automated unit and integration testing. (TDD/DDD);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Experience in a diverse and customer-oriented work environment;
Preferred but not essential skills:
- Certifications (Kubernetes, DevOps, Cloud);
- Solid knowledge with Object Oriented programming and Design Patterns;
- Architectural thinking and development best practices;
- Ability to explore and propose solutions connected to the business;
- Have intermediate English;
- Knowledge in Spanish;
- Some experience with monitoring tools; as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana;
