As an Investment Banking Associate in UBS BB team, you will participate in the "full cycle" of transactional execution including idea generation, preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting internal committee memoranda and client presentations. You will play a pivotal role in implementing the deal execution including working with other analysts and associates, as well as assisting senior bankers and clients. You will have strong functional skills in the major areas of investment banking and will demonstrate the ability to become a banker who can generate and execute their own transactions. We are looking for an Analyst to: - Build complex financial models and preparing valuation, merger and other analytical exercises - Draft presentation materials, management & Board materials, Memoranda, and other presentation for use in M&A and ECM transactions or strategic client dialogue - Prepare and support on sector analysis - Keep abreast of key market developments and establishing knowledge of the latest developments in the structuring and execution of transactions - Collaborate with various coverage, pool and product colleagues during origination and execution stages - Execute transaction specific responsibilities: - Help with organizing and project managing M&A and ECM process - Support due diligence, deal documentation and announcement preparation - Liaise with relevant counterparts at the client / other advisers **Your Career Comeback** **Your team** - This position sits within UBS BB’s leading Investment Banking team, based in São Paulo. It has a sound reputation with an exemplary track record and is recognized by clients, other advisors and competitors as one of the leading franchises in the Latin American market. **Your expertise** - 4+ years of Investment Banking experience with a leading bank or advisory boutique - proven financial analysis and modelling skills, incl. LBO and DCF valuation - demonstrate communication and project management skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other lines of business - eagerness to learn, develop and grow within corporate finance.
