Key job responsibilities
- Lead and execute the Brazil Community advocacy strategy, fostering engagement with developers and builders seeking to advance their AWS and cloud computing skills
- Drive growth of established community programs across Brazil, including AWS User Groups, AWS Community Builders, AWS Heroes, and AWS Community Day events, while developing innovative regional initiatives to meet local needs.
- Track program effectiveness through key metrics, provide regular updates to leadership, and adapt strategies to align with evolving community requirements and business objectives

A day in the life
Your day might start with a team standup to align on projects. You could then spend time developing a demo on AWS solutions, followed by writing a blog post. In the afternoon, you might prepare for a webinar, engage with the developer community on Stack Overflow, and explore new solutions. Your role combines technical expertise, content creation, and community engagement to inspire and educate developers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years’ experience in developer relations and community management OR Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Completed Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated success in managing technical communities and organizing developer-focused events, including meetups and conferences.
- Proven track record of leading multiple concurrent projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, within technical and business settings.
- Ability to travel throughout Brazil to support community initiatives and events.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing ecosystem
- Data analysis skills for tracking and interpreting community engagement metrics
- Established presence and network on developer-focused social media platforms
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish, within technical and business settings
