Rentcars is looking for a **Chief Product Officer** to join our team and help us expand globally and improve our Product and Technology strategies. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as a technology, product and business expert, making decisions impacting current and future operations. We seek a senior professional obsessed with user experience, ability to identify business opportunities, improve our technology platform, and always up-to-date with the best market practices.
You´ll be working closely with Marketing, Customer Service, and Commercial teams, at a company that operates in 160+ countries and is the leading online car rental marketplace in Latin America, with a fast-paced, creative, dynamic, exciting, and above all, responsible team.
**Here's what this role is all about**:

- Conversion rate optimization through A/B testing, sales funnel management and cross-platform performance metrics (desktop, mobile, and APPs);
- Improve UX (User experience) in all platforms, increasing customer satisfaction and lifetime value;
- Define products strategy and roadmap: Own the company's portfolio strategy, including the planning of upcoming products and features improvements;
- Guide and mentor teams of Product Management (PMs and POs), UX/UI Designers and Software Development to execute the strategy;
- Keep up to date with market best practices, latest technologies, and e-commerce trends. Do benchmarks to constantly raise the bar on our products usability;
- Track and control annual operating budget for purchasing, staffing, product and technology operations;
- Structure technology policies, procedures, and standards to ensure organizational success;
- Design and lead the implementation of our strategy for technology while ensuring the implementation and enforcement of technology standards across the organization;
- Maintain industry-leading uptime on critical technology infrastructure through great architectural decisions, successful monitoring and testing processes, and system redundancy;
- Provide technical leadership at the enterprise level and serve an integral role in Technology and Products development;
- Ensure data privacy and system security compliance across the globe;
**A good match would have**:

- Strong track record of Products Development and UX/UI Design in a B2C product-oriented company, especially in the e-commerce industry;
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products;
- A sophisticated understanding of how consumer internet technologies work, e-commerce experience preferred;
- Strong people skills and management experience;
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority;
- Strong know-how of Conversion Rate Optimization though A/B testing;
- Experience working with agile methodologies using industry-standard products management methods;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in Portuguese and English;
- Strong experience managing the full product life cycle.
