MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

The role will be involved in support of highly critical production environment and will be engaged in architecture, design and deployment of large range systems along with a team of technically competent professionals

Demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignments

Enough expertise to identify and recommend changes/improvements to the process and infrastructure design.

Provide L2 & L3 level support

Consult with internal team and end users to determine system requirements and specifications.

Act as a member of a quick-response team. Will often work under demanding deadlines, operating independently to resolve complex problems.

Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks or document procedural runbooks for junior administrators.

Be part of an on-call rotation.

May be asked to mentor others or serve as a team lead, guiding day-to-day activities of team members.

Other duties as assigned.

Resolve moderate to complex (P1, P2 and P3) incidents and problems effectively and in a timely manner

Providing 24X7 production support and available for escalations. Also, ready to work in any shift.

Responsible for performing root cause analysis and long-term fixes

Responsible for implementation of medium to complex components of a project module, change request.

Responsible for providing trend analysis to management team to enable them to make informed decisions

Work in a cross-cultural team and communicate effectively

Should have more than 5+ years of Windows server Administration experience preferably with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment (at least 100-150 Servers)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

5-7 Years’ experience in administering Windows 2000/ 2003 etc. Server and Active Directory.

In-Depth knowledge of Active Directory and DNS structure and management.

Strong knowledge in File and Print Server Management; Knowledge in Windows Security; experienced in Antivirus products & Ability to implement AD infrastructure.

Proficient in doing Recovery of AD Domain Controllers, DNS, WINS, DHCP servers & In-Depth knowledge of Domain Controllers replication configurations.

Will be responsible for the maintenance RIMM Project (Including Remote Installation and Maintenance of existing setup / Server / Servers and installation of new setup / Server / Servers).

Contribute to the architecture design, deployment and development of IT services and associated processes and procedure.

Good Exposure to Group Policies creation, their testing and implementation & In-Depth knowledge of DHCP servers designing and planning.

Should have good working experience on RAID management and Array controller & troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters, Windows Load Balancing

Should have expertise in backup products & OEM hardware (DELL/HP/IBM), & remote connectivity tools.

Should have worked with more than one patching (WSUS & Shavlik) & antivirus tools & knowledge of Windows Registry, including knowledge of modifying system.

Ability to build and remove domains in existing AD environment & FSMO Roles assignment in AD environment

Good Proficiency in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery & capacity planning and Fine tune system for optimal performance.

Excellent Knowledge on managing Large Citrix farm Environment & citrix Load balancing.

Knowledge of Citrix secure gateway Configuration

Good experience on installation, configuration and managing VM Ware environment.

In depth Knowledge of implementing VMware HA, DRS.

Knowledge of VERITAS Cluster Service.
