Our
**Software Engineer Interns** are key to the future of our business as a big data company. Interns work on teams alongside full-time employees to complete a series real work projects.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Investigate and help to develop improvements and new features on components of the HPCC platform.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
- Customize platform components and interfaces for specific products and solutions.
- General development using C/C++, Python and Linux scripting languages.

**Qualifications**:

- Studying computer science, software engineering or similar courses.
- Familiarity with Unix / Linux Operating System
- Understanding of software development processes - including familiarity with the cycles of requirements definition, issue tracking, version control, automated testing, deployment and maintenance
- Good oral and written communications abilities
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ (preferred) and Python (desired).

**We also offer internships for students attending colleges in other cities or states.**
