**Responsibilities**:
An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic and experienced Grade 2 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists to join our friendly and dynamic team at Community Based Rehabilitation. Community Based Rehabilitation provides collaborative and coordinated rehabilitation services within the division of Chronic and Complex Care. Rehabilitation care is provided via a patient-centred, innovative, blended model involving centre-based, home-based and telehealth sessions. An option exists for some remote work depending on clinical demand.
The role may be part of Western Health rotating program which provides the opportunity to work across multiple clinical areas including orthopaedic inpatients and outpatients (elective and trauma), fracture clinic, hydrotherapy, and the Grade 2 training program for Advanced Practice Physiotherapy services.
2 x FULLTIME PERMANENT POSITIONS and 1 x temporary position
To be Successful in this Role you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and managing clients with a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
- Excellent clinical and organisation skills
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in supervising grade 1 staff and / or Allied Health Assistants or physiotherapy students
- Experience in quality improvement and/or research
- Experience or ability to quickly develop skills in delivering patient care via telehealth (Health Direct platform)
- To contribute to a culture that values ongoing learning and be part of a positive workplace
- To work collaboratively with the Physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams
