What you'll do:
Are you excited by data analysis, teamwork, and the opportunity to connect the world? If so, we would like you to join our Viasat Brazil office as an intern
- Work closely with team members to understand project requirements, data sources, and data quality issues
- Conduct data analysis, modeling, and forecasting
- Participate in data quality assurance and data governance activities
- Research and test new data analysis techniques, and share findings with the team

The day-to-day:
As a Data Analytics Intern, you will:

- Collaborate with a team to create data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using Airflow and SQL
- Conduct ad hoc analyses as needed to support business decisions
- Improve our data analysis and visualization processes by researching and testing new tools and techniques

What you'll need:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science or related field (e.g., computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Proficiency in SQL and basic understanding of database structures
- Knowledge of Python programming
- Working English proficiency (speaking and written)
- Brazilian citizenship required

What will help you on the job:

- Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and normalization.
- Experience with Airflow or other ETL tools
- Familiarity with statistics and machine learning concepts
- Experience with Git and version control
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
