Business Analyst Intern

We are currently looking for a Payroll Intern to join us in Sao Paulo, Brazil. You will work closely with a mentor to gain knowledge and experience in your field, and cooperate with a broader international team both locally and globally.

As a Payroll Intern, you will assist the payroll team in processing payroll, maintaining accurate records, and supporting day-to-day operations. You will also contribute to initiatives aimed at improving payroll processes through documentation and administrative support. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a foundational understanding of payroll operations in a dynamic work environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Support payroll team with day-to-day administrative tasks, such as data entry, document organization, and reporting- Assist in handling payroll-related inquiries via ticket management system.- Assist in payroll processing by collecting, reviewing data (i.e. employee time records), and reconciling variances.- Maintain accurate payroll records and assist in resolving discrepancies.- Support payroll team with audits and data validation activities to ensure accuracy.- Collaborate with the payroll team on improvement initiatives by providing suggestions, performing research, and supporting implementation activities.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as People Team and Finance, to support and ensure accurate employee data management.- Learn about LATAM payroll laws and regulations to support payroll team with research.

**Required Skills**:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.- Basic understanding of payroll principles and labor laws is a plus.- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and/or other payroll-related software.- Analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
