Electrical Estimator

In order to support one of our key mega-tech clients, Smarter Logistics is looking for **a qualified Electrical Estimator** who is interested in joining a growing company with career advancement opportunities, aggressive commissions, and a high-energy work environment.

**Primary Purpose**:

- Electrical Estimators have the responsibility of evaluating the cost of electrical proposals and installations for a key client;
- Calculate the projected costs involved in electrical projects;
- Validate invoices to be paid.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain project budgets and maintain systems of checks and balances to manage the project to achieve success;
- Assist General Manager in negotiating project bids and estimate project costs;
- Assist General Manager in negotiating materials and equipment purchases;
- Maintain high quality of deliverables and client expectations;
- Track project changes and report any required changes to monthly billings to General Manager;
- Project, project labor and material needs and coordinate schedules;
- Verify the accuracy of labor and material estimates;
- Resolve design issues and questions by involving appropriate personnel. Push for resolutions to keep the project moving;
- Review project contracts and ensure that liens and intents are in place;
- Manage, prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget for large, complex programs.

**Other duties may be assigned such as**:

- Plan or schedule electrical projects;
- Estimate new construction/retrofit projects.

**Minimum Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical systems installation, design, and project estimating;
- Minimum 2 years of Construction estimating;
- Must have proven ability to manage people and clients and manage projects for a successful outcome and achieve project goals;
- Must be able to cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained;
- 5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.

Pay: R$5,000.00 - R$25,000.00 per month
