**EPCI MATERIAL WELDING SPECIALIST**

**Job description**:

- Support the Project.
- Analyze proposals and documents according to international standards and specifications.
- Perform field work in monitoring manufacturing and equipment tests at suppliers in Brazil and abroad.
- Monitor, supervise and guide during offshore pipeline launching activities.
- Be the technical focal point for welding, NDT and Coating issues at suppliers, PMT and customers
- Review welding and coating documents according to international standards.
- Issue and monitor the progress of technical issues for the customer.
- Review the technical documentation of suppliers (data-book, ITP, PQT, etc.)
- Guide the Quality Control team during manufacturing and production test.

**You are meant for this job if**:

- Technical or Higher Education.
- Essential to possess the following Certifications or demonstrate equivalent technical knowledge: 1 - Welding Inspector (FBTS or AWS or CSWIP or IIW Welding Engineering. 2 - NACE Coating or ABRACO or ABENDI Pipeline Coating Inspector
- Microsoft Word e Excel
- Intermediary English
- Experience in monitoring the fabrication of submerged equipment such as suction piles, PLET, PLEM, manifold, XTs, jumpers, shutoff coils, etc., including preparation of technical specifications, field inspections.
- Familiarity with welding and NDT of exotic materials, such as Inconel 625, Duplex Stainless, etc.
- Experience with major market players (Petrobras, Total, Equinor, BP, Shell, Exxon, Repsol);
- Negotiate or manage technical issues with customers and suppliers;
- Focal point in welding and NDT issues with customers and suppliers.
- Field experience in SpoolBase during Stalk fabrication
- Offshore pipeline laying experience in one of the 3 methods (Reel, S and J-lay)
- In-depth knowledge and participation in different pipeline projects including welding techniques, WPQT (V and J chamfer, mechanized equipment, p-GMAW, p-GTAW, g-FCAW, WOL and other welding processes).
- Familiarity with DNV-OS-F101 or its latest version (DNVGL-ST-F101), AWS D1.1, API6A, Nace MR175 and API 1104.
- In depth knowledge of pipeline coating (HSS, IMPU, IMPP, FBE, etc)
- Participation in qualification testing (PQT) and painting of structures.
- Experience in pipeline projects and/or submerged equipment (field experience)
- Good Communication, Organization, Working under pressure, Customer focus.
