**Raw Material Process Professional in R&D** **About you** You’re a strong communicator who likes to interact with different stakeholders, making sure you all work towards one common goal**:optimized Raw material cost and portfolio**. Your natural curiousness makes you question the status-quo and drives you to initiate change and propose new ways for improvement. While being creative when it comes to problem-solving, you’re also well-organized and have a structured way of working. Even when you go into detail when it comes to process analysis, you do not lose sight of the big picture. In addition, you have: - Interest to be involved on the global Raw materials process, with strong interface with R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, Recycling, Operations and Technical marketing - Interest to gain knowledge on the business, products, raw materials and the company’s systems - Academic degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Metallurgical) - Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint - Advanced in English for both written and oral communication, further languages are considered an asset - Team player with strong interpersonal skills - Solid capacity to build a strong relationship network across the company - Problem solving capability of unstructured and complex projects - Structured way of working, gaining knowledge and autonomy over the time **About the job** As an experienced Raw Material Process Professional, you will be part of the team that manages the **Raw material cost initiatives in R&D**, aiming for Cost savings, Second source qualification and Portfolio management, and will be located in **Contagem **with a **flexible working** contract**.** Your tasks will include: - Management of the Raw Material Cost Saving portfolio of +100 projects per year - Yearly planning and execution of the projects (annual savings of > 10m€) - Total scope of 1 billion € of Raw Material spend in the company - Strong strategic alignment regarding cost efficiency, network optimization, supply disruption risk mitigation and recycling initiatives - Management of the interface with the R&D team, Procurement, Supply Chain management, Recycling, Operations and Sales - Reporting on the monthly Raw Material Management Meeting, involving the R&D, Procurement and SCM leaders - Leading special projects in Raw Materials, such as Single Source mitigation, Raw Material Harmonization across all product groups **About RHI Magnesita** We are the acknowledged technology leader in the refractory industry.
