Superintendente Assistente Manutenção

**Job Description**:
This position is located on site full time. Some regional travel expected. As a Maintenance Leader you will be responsible for maintenance activities on site, manufacturing and facilities. As part of construction and installation, you will influence activities while managing your department and its structure. Decisions will rely heavily on ensuring a lean manufacturing environment, focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). Responsible for training others. The work environment is diverse and will require excellent communication skills.

**Scope**:

- Lead the maintenance and repair of cell manufacturing equipment and supporting process facilities
- Sets strategy and implements solutions to problems and sets schedule and quality requirements
- Establish collaborative work standards for maintenance team and industrial maintenance technicians
- Implement strategies to improve equipment uptime and system availability
- Frequent collaboration with others outside of the work group
- Communicates with plant, support staffs
- Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
- Leads the selection of new employees. Hires, trains, develops and evaluates employees
- Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project and proven ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with the highest level of autonomy and accountability for results
- Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help others
- Validated ability in project management skills and ability to teach others and shown desire and ability to manage/coach performance of direct reports
- Responsible for creating budgets and forecasts within assigned area
- Obtains a deep knowledge and ability to implement GMS/Lean Manufacturing principles.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- English language preferred
- Knowledge in LIBRAS desirable
- Maintenance previous experience (as TM, TL or GL)
- Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others in a diverse environment
- High level of oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Workplace Safety System (WSS)
- Experience/knowledge of GM Global Manufacturing System (GMS)
- Experience on project implementation/operation
- Knowledge of continuous improvement processes (CIP)
