The Role:
Reporting to the Solution Manager, in this role you will need to understand customer needs and challenges as well as industry trends, be an active participant in the sales process from the technical perspective, and develop a solution that addresses clients’ demands. You will be responsible for:
Leading technical sales support, showing dominance in Advanced Process Control and related areas to simplify customer understanding of APC solutions.
Demonstrating consultative skills in customer-facing situations to recognize issues, understand their business, and create a reliable value proposition.
Handling and contributing to customer consulting engagements with workshops, assessments, seminars, technical presentations, and software demonstrations to facilitate sales.
Supporting marketing pipeline development, sales execution, and generating commercial proposals for assigned opportunities.
Working as a business partner to the sales team in planning activities.
The Requirements:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Technology, Science, or Mathematics with at least 4 years of experience working in the oil & gas, mining, or refining industry.
Knowledge of process automation and flow processes. Previous experience with APC (Automation and Process Control Applications) is a plus.
Problem solver individual with strong analytical skills with the ability to transform customers’ requirements into concrete business solutions.
Outstanding creativity skills capable of doing ideal presentations for middle management professionals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, plus an advanced level of English, is mandatory.
Availability to travel up to 50% of the time to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
