This is not just another engineering role. This is an invitation to become a pillar of Sofira. You will be one of our first hires, working directly with our CTO, Pedro Leme (former Head of Engineering at Jusbrasil), to build the product and team from the ground up. As a member of the

Your mission: to tame the chaos of legacy government systems and leverage state-of-the-art generative AI to solve high-value, real-world problems. → What You'll Do (Your Mission)

• Architect and build
  the foundational infrastructure for our AI platform, ensuring it is scalable, resilient, and secure from day one.
• Own the core data and machine learning infrastructure
  that powers our agents, including our proprietary data processing pipelines and vector databases.
• Own features end-to-end
  , mastering the backend while being versatile enough to contribute to our modern frontend to ship a seamless user experience.
• Set the standard for engineering excellence.

→ What You'll Need (The Hard Skills)

• 2-6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in backend development using Python and at least one of its web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Comfortable working with a modern frontend framework (e.g., React, , Vue, Svelte) to implement UI features when necessary.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL).
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean).
• Comfortable using AI heavily for coding with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot, or willing to adopt these tools as part of your workflow.
• Fluency in English.

• Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Google, etc.).
• Experience with data scraping, ETL, or data-intensive backend systems.
• Familiarity with modern AI developer tools and patterns (e.g., RAG, LangChain, DSPy, vector databases, retrieval pipelines).
• Previous experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup.
